Jennifer Michele Gardner Cook is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. As a base for her national speaking ministry, she founded Jennifer Cook Ministries, a Bible-based organization based on James 1:22 NASB, “But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.” Her passion is to practically help women ‘live out’ the Word of God in their everyday lives.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Houston, Texas, Jennifer came to know the Lord at the age of 9, at First Baptist Church of Houston, Texas, with senior pastor John Bisagno. Upon graduation cum laude from Spring Woods Senior High School in Houston, Texas, she moved back to Atlanta, Georgia. She married Steve Cook on August 22, 1992. They have 6 children – Joshua, Hunter, Savannah, Cole, Wade and Drake and 5 grandchildren – Nolan, Jayci, Adaline, Jolene and Charlie. Jennifer and Steve joined First Baptist Church of Snellville in February of 1994 and recommitted their lives to the Lord. All of their children made professions of faith at FBC Snellville. Jennifer has served in many capacities at her home church throughout the years – Women’s Ministry Prison Director, Vacation Bible School Director, different roles within the Preschool and Children’s Ministry and currently as Women’s Ministry Director. She leads a Thursday morning MOMS Bible Study and a Wednesday evening Bible Study called Coffee, Conversations & Christ.
In addition to continuing to serve women at her home church in Snellville, she speaks at various women’s events. She is currently writing a devotional book.
